I am SO over protein powder and so is NPR. Y’all know I always preach about how unnecessary it is for the average person, now they have as well (check it out on their site or below) Unless you’re an extreme athlete, recovering from an injury, or over the age of 60 you only need around 50 grams of protein a day. Protein is in so many whole foods that it is totally unnecessary to add it into powder form too. My opinion! Stick to whole foods if you’re trying to add more protein, and peace out supplements!
